The short version

Panel Acoustics sells Australian-made acoustic panels to people who want a quieter room and don't want to deal with a commercial fit-out company to get one. Offices, cafes, home theatres, bedrooms, teenage dens. Same panels, priced clearly, shipped anywhere in Australia.

Who's behind it

We're the team behind Mega Office Supplies, an Australian-owned online supplier that's been serving businesses, schools, healthcare and government across the country for years. Panel Acoustics is a sister store under the same company, Mega Thing Pty Ltd (ABN 18 634 002 609), run by the same people from the same office in Tweed Heads.

Founders Martin Bate and Nadine Harnack have more than 30 years in office and commercial supply between them. Acoustic panels kept coming up in conversations with customers, usually followed by "but I can't get a straight price". So we built a store that gives one.

What we sell

The Acouline range: wall panels, hanging screens, ceiling panels and tiles, desk screens, wrap screens and pinboards, in 14 colours and two thicknesses. It's made in Australia from recycled plastic bottles, rated NRC 0.85, Group 1 fire rated, and backed by a 10 year warranty. We also stock the brackets, hanging kits and fixings to go with it.

How we work

• Every panel has a real price on it. Buy one, or buy fifty.
• Freight is pallet freight at cost, confirmed with you before anything ships. No hidden margin.
• Send us a photo of your room and we'll tell you what it needs, and quote panels, freight and install together.
